Dr. Sean Strain was born and raised in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He then went on and performed an intense 1 year internship at Merritt and Associates Equine Hospital in Chicago, IL. From there he went to Annabessacook Veterinary Clinic in Monmouth, ME for 3 years. Equine lameness, surgery , medicine and dentistry are his major interests. He brings to the area a vast knowledge in equine lameness diagnoses and treatments. He is a member of the KVMA, MVMA, AAEP and AVMA.      Dr. Sean Strain and his wife Kelly, recently got married in Antigua in January 2007. They moved into a house and 10 acres in Bonner Springs , KS in April 2007. They have a black lab named Belle, a chihuahua named Daisy, and a new lab puppy named Gage.      Dr. Strain thoroughly enjoys continuing his education, as well as sharing that knowledge with his clients so that they can be better horse owners.      Strain Equine Services, LLC is the official veterinarian of the Kansas City Mounted Patrol.
